At times it was painful to watch. The way it ended made some shake their head, wondering if football could be played at a lower level. With no time remaining, Texans kicker Kris Brown missed a field goal from 31 yards, and the Titans survived an embarrassing moment, holding on for a 13-10 win in front of a half-empty Coliseum Sunday. It was an appropriate ending to an ugly game played by two of the bottom feeders in the NFL. The Titans dropped passes, couldn’t complete any deep passes and struggled with their running game. It wasn’t much better for the Texans, who couldn’t protect their quarterback, while losing a third straight game in the final minute.
